Shipping – Basketball Hoops/Systems
- In stock items will typically ship from our warehouse within 2-10 business days from the time of order. Freight transit time is typically 1-5 business days for Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba (non-rural), 4-10 business days for Alberta, BC, Eastern Canada.
- When your hoop arrives at the nearest terminal to your home, the freight carrier will call you by phone to schedule a delivery date. Typically you will then hear from the carrier within 2 to 10 business days from the date of shipping* to schedule your delivery date to your address. You will need to be present for the delivery.
- Delivery is curbside only. This means that the driver is not required to help you off load your products. No lift gate is used and you will be responsible to unload the product and bring it into your own home.
- Count the boxes to make sure that you have received the amount of boxes listed on the delivery receipt.
- If you notice any damage, please note it on the driver’s copy of the delivery receipt and call our office at (905) 749-4667. All damages and/or missing parts must be reported to Hoops North by phone or email within 5 days of the date that you accept delivery, and must be reported prior to installation.
- If you miss your first delivery appointment, you may be charged a fee for any subsequent delivery attempts.
Shipping – Accessories
- Accessories and parts will be shipped via Purolator or FedEx Ground. Typical transit time is 3-5 business days.
- Accessory/part shipments will typically ship next business day out of our warehouse.
- For accessories that are purchased with a basketball hoop, they will all be packaged together and delivered via freight shipping.
Returns
- You may cancel your order for a full refund before it is shipped. Please be aware that orders can be shipped as early as the following business day.
- Returns are accepted within 30 days from the date of purchase.
- The merchandise returned must be unused and uninstalled, in the original shipping boxes and packaging, to be eligible for a refund. Unfortunately, used merchandise will not be eligible for a refund.
- You are responsible for the cost of the return shipping fees and any shipping fees incurred by Hoops North for the initial shipment to the customer. We cannot accept collect shipments. Flat Rate Shipping or any shipping credits only apply if the customer chooses to keep the merchandise.
- Once received and inspected to be in original packaging and new factory condition, your refund will be processed within 5 business days.
Frequently Asked Shipping Questions
When can I expect my order?
Orders leave our warehouse typically within 2-10 business days depending on product availability*. In addition, please allow 2-10 additional business days of transit time for your hoop to arrive. Often, the closer your destination is to our Mississauga warehouse, the quicker you’ll receive your hoop.
How do I track my shipment?
Because we ship hoops as freight, we are unable to provide tracking details to the customer. Once the hoop arrives at your local hub, the trucking company will call to schedule an appointment for delivery.
Do I have to be home to receive my shipment?
Yes, someone must be present at the time of delivery to check the condition of and sign for the product.
Do you ship to Rural Addresses in Canada?
Due to the quality of the products we carry, they are considered oversize and can be a challenge to ship to rural addresses. Due to the variability of the cost of shipping to these addresses, we can only quote freight at the time of order. We apologize for any inconvenience, however we will make every effort to find a feasible solution to deliver products to all of our customers.
Hoops North reserves the right to cancel and fully refund a customer order if a suitable shipping solution cannot be offered.
*Excludes Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.
